“When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.”
Acts 2:1-4
The sacrament of Confirmation is the celebration of the renewal of Baptismal promises that were made by our parents at the time of Baptism. In Confirmation we have the opportunity to confirm in our own lives a desire to grow in holiness through the Catholic Church. Adults to be confirmed receive the sacrament of Confirmation on the feast of Pentecost.
This year, adults who are looking to be confirmed are invited to learn alongside our catechumen and candidates in the RCIA program starting in September. RCIA sessions are held on Tuesday nights starting at 7pm and are located in the parish center. Register below!
