“When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.”
Acts 2:1-4
The sacrament of Confirmation is the celebration of the renewal of Baptismal promises that were made by our parents at the time of Baptism. In Confirmation we have the opportunity to accept the mission which God has called us to in our own lives.
Many Catholics receive the Sacrament of Confirmation as a young person (generally middle school or high school age). If you are an adult who has not been Confirmed, there are several options for preparation to receive this sacrament, depending on your previous faith formation background. Fill out the form below if you are an adult Catholic interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation; a member of the parish staff will reach out to you with more information.
