Following Alpha each fall, our parishioners are invited to join us for a spring renewal series. The topic of the 2019 Spring Renewal Series was Sex, Drugs and the Catholic Church.
Come back in fall 2019 to see our plan for the spring 2020.
Think about everything you do in a day - for your family, for your church, for yourself. How many things get left behind? What would your days be like if you weren't just going through the motions? Where is God in all this?
God calls us to do something for him - to be holy. The things we do don't have to conflict with this ultimate purpose. During our time at Benedict Inn we'll reflect on the things we do, the thing we don't do, and the man or woman God's wants us to be.
We often look at the confessional with a sense of confusion or even fear. But what if Confession has something more to offer us? What if this sacrament is an encounter not with judgment but with love and mercy itself? As the Divine Physician, Jesus invites us to receive his mercy and healing. He only waits for us to come to him. Getting More Out of Confession helps us to understand the Sacrament of Reconciliation in a new and deeper way. Through Scripture stories, engaging commentary, and questions for reflection and discussion, Joel Stepanek inspires us to make this beautiful gift a regular part of our lives. Is any pleasure on earth as great as a circle of Christian friends by a fire?

Small groups are offered for individual, married or single, same-sex and co-ed, and couples. For example, you can be married and still belong to a women's only group.
Small groups meet monthly following the schedule of those in the groups. The individuals decide together where to meet, how often and what resource to use to guide the discussion. Some groups gather on weekday mornings, others on weekend nights.
Each group will have one or two facilitators who are responsible for communication with the group's members and the Director of Religious Education and supporting the group.
If and when you are ready to try out a small group, contact Michelle Ross at mross@nativityindy.org.
Delta is phase two of our process of forming adult disciples.
In the math world, the delta symbol is commonly used to mark a change or difference. During our Delta phase, you are invited to ask yourself what change God is asking of you. What can you do to grow in relationship with God? Hopefully you find something here to aid that growth.
