Award-winning author, professor to give talk at Nativity Mary was Christ’s first and most perfect disciple, her life is a blessing to us: illustrating all the virtues we try to practice to perfect our souls to, hopefully, one day enter our Heavenly Father’s kingdom. Jesus loved and honored his mother, and so we must too. Join us as we dive into Mary’s role as mother and disciple of Christ with award-winning author Dr. Leonard DeLorenzo on Thursday, October 27th. Dr. DeLorenzo will give his talk: “Mary: The Mother and Model of Discipleship,” with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the talk starting at 7 p.m. in the Holy Family Conference Room at the Parish Center. Dr. DeLorenzo serves in the McGrath Institute for Church Life and teaches theology at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. DeLorenzo travels the country and the world to give talks on a variety of topics like the spirituality of the saints, character formation, the biblical imagination, and parish renewal. Leonard is also the host of a popular radio show and podcast.
