Caroline Goodwin, soprano Caroline Goodwin’s soprano voice has been described as “filament fine but powerful” and full of “rising star sparkle.” Originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, she is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Voice under the tutelage of Brian Horne at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She received a Bachelor of Science in Voice with an Outside Field in History from IU in 2021 and attended the world-renowned American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria during the summer of 2022. Caroline has most recently appeared on the proscenium stage as Gabriella in IU Opera Theater’s La Rondine, after making her IUOT role debut as Second Spirit in The Magic Flute in the fall of 2021. Her other past roles (with various organizations) include Maria in West Side Story, Liesl in The Sound of Music, and Lou Ann in Hairspray. Her opera chorus experiences include Falstaff, Xerxes, and Bernstein’s Mass with IU Opera Theatre and The Jungle with New Voices Opera. Caroline's growing experience in concert work includes engagements with the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra and multiple recital performances in Terre Haute and Bloomington, Indiana, as well as Graz, Austria. In addition to classical music and musical theatre, Caroline enjoys singing a variety of other genres including jazz, folk, and cutting-edge art song. Tim Stephenson, piano Concert artist, teacher, and arts administrator Timothy Stephenson has been described as “a very thoughtful and sensitive musician – he has a bit of old-school elegance that is increasingly rare.” (The Chautauquan Daily)
Having received top prizes in over a dozen international and local competitions, Stephenson has most recently been featured as a soloist on stage at Aspen’s Harris Hall. Stephenson has worked with several renowned conductors, including Timothy Muffet and Thomas Wilkins, and made his professional Midwest debut in February 2019, with a performance of Grieg’s piano concerto, under the baton of David Bowden. An avid collaborator, his violin-piano duo made their Carnegie Hall debut in May 2017, with a showcase recital at Weill Recital Hall.
Emerging from the doctoral degree in piano at the Jacobs School of Music, Stephenson has worked with renowned pianist and teacher Norman Krieger. Past studies include degrees under the tutelage of Read Gainsford at Florida State University. He has appeared in masterclasses with Jerome Lowenthal, Paul Lewis, Ian Hobson, Alexander Gavrylyuk, Logan Skelton, Alexander Korsantia, and Arnaldo Cohen, with summers at the Aspen Music Festival and School, Chautauqua Institution, and Pianofest in the Hamptons. Nicha Stapanukul, piano Nicha Stapanukul maintains a career as a multi-faceted musician, having performed as a soloist, collaborative pianist, and chamber musician across the world and held teaching and administrative positions at renowned institutions.
Since her debut in 2009 at Princess Alexandra Hall in London, UK, Nicha has been a prizewinner of various competitions and prestigious awards in Thailand and abroad, known to ‘display a poise and professional maturity’ (Overseas Journal of the Royal Over-Seas League). Entering the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University at the age of 16 with a full scholarship, Nicha earned her Bachelor of Music under the tutelage of the renowned pedagogue Yong Hi Moon. She is currently a candidate for a Doctor of Music in Music Literature and Performance with minors in music education, arts administration, and collaborative piano from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
Nicha is the Director of Education of Community Engagement at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and serves on the board of ChamberFest Brown County. She has brought music education to communities around the world including Bangkok, Baltimore, Dominican Republic, Kenya, and now, Indianapolis.
